Okay, I only know German phrases because they're either very familiar or Google helps me out, but I'm trying to learn. I am from the U.S. (nearly eastern shore), comprehend and speak some French, though.

Online I'm nomdeplume or nomdeplume13 or some such variant. In real life, I work for a newspaper as a copy editor, formerly as a reporter. I like to write, play piano, watch anime/cartoons (I even had an internship with Cartoon Network's Adult Swim for a year in college. Best job ever.), and I like chatting with friends online, since they've all scattered from the area.

I love Hetalia, Fullmetal Alchemist, among other animes, and I am a huge science fiction geek. Star Trek, Dr. Who, Torchwood, Twilight Zone, Outer Limits, Stargate... At some point or another I have been VERY into all of those series. I still am for some.

Anyway. Really nice to see lots of people on here and sorry I'm not more talkative in the chat. I use the computer a lot while at work. I can post quick updates here, but keeping a chat window open is a little more difficult.

Stargate is one of my favorite movies ever, but I've never followed the TV series though.

(btw, this means that we really need to ask for a sci-fi AU, like seriously)

Oh, yeah, should I add that I'm a mutt (being American and all)? Part Arthur (and his brothers, what with the Scottish, Welsh and Irish that make up more than Arthur), Francis, Ludwig and Vash.

And yeah, sci fi could be fun. Ludwig as Vader maybe?

When we had the Hetalia-Star Wars moment Ludwig was more like Chewbacca. But, uhm.

You are somebody that I haven't interacted with yet. Too bad about the chatbox. It'd be a blast to have Ludwig chatting with us. Lovi's there all the time so he'd be getting lots of love abuse from him. XD

I think it was something like Gilbert and Ludwig were Han and Chewy...and Alfred was Leia. It was, er, not our finest moment, perhaps...XD

Still, it sounds funny. Who were Vader and Luke?

Francis and Matthew, respectively. That's how it started, actually, with an 'I am your father' joke...I was Lando Calrissian...XD

Same, actually. I can't figure out where Erzsebet would come into it though...been a long time since I watched it last.
