House of the Vargas Family~ (which is just above the restaurant)

Feliciano went upstairs with Chibi. It was really late for his little brother, and for him as well, but the cleaning of the kitchen could wait.

He turned the light of the room on. "Are you tired, fratellino? It's better if you go straight to bed. Do you want anything before sleeping? Hot milk and honey?" He took his brother's pajamas from underneath the pillow and handed it to Chibi with a smile.

Feliciano wasn't exactly the type of man one could call responsible, but things changed as they concerned his little brother. With him, he acted like an old and caring brother, whereas in all the other aspects of his life, Feliciano behaved often rather irresponsibly or more childishly than his own fratellino. Even if he wasn't brave, though, his own little brother inspired in him some protection instinct.

Exiting his office, Lovino was surprised to find that the restaurant was for the most part empty-the last of the employee's straggling out. At least it meant he didn't actually have to deal with any of them today. He yawned boredly and went to lock up, shutting of lights and turning on the alarm system as he did.

He scowled as he poked his head into the kitchen, leaving the somewhat messy room alone in favour of grabbing Francisco and climbing the stairs to find Feliciano.

Depositing the cat on the second floor and checking both the bedrooms. Having tracked both his siblings down he leaned against the door frame of chibi's room."Shouldn't you be asleep already Kid?" he questioned. "And shouldn't you be cleaning Fratello?"

Chibitalia sleepily walked over to his brother and hugged him "yeah i was just going to sleep...." he said after a yawn. He then took his pajamas from Feliciano, changed into them and crawled into bed."Ninight~" he said sleepily to the both of them.

Feliciano smiled at both his brothers.

"Well, customers kept me busy tonight~" he replied to Lovino, blinking to him with a smile "I'm going back downstairs to clean, now. And to prepare a cake for tomorrow morning!" he promised to Chibi as he leant on him to kiss him goodnight. "Buona notte."

"So, how was your day, brother?" he asked as he went closer to Lovino.

"Ah, well...good then. Night" He went and sat on the edge of the bed, making sure chibi was tucked in. Not because he actually cared or anything-no, he didn't feel like dealing with doctors or whatever if the kid fell and gave himself a concussion or something...

"Isn't that why we hire waiters?" Lovino rolled his eyes, one would think 'don't talk to strangers' would manage to stick by the time one was Feliciano's age...

He shrugged in reply to his brothers question. "Eh, I've had worse I suppose"

"True, but some customers require the chef's attention. And besides, Chibi was already there chatting." he glanced at the child already half asleep in the bed.

He knew his work didn't involve hanging out with patrons and chatting with them, but sometimes spending the whole evening in the kitchen was a bit tough for him. And also, he thought clients liked when the chef came to talk to them to make sure that everything was alright with their meal.

"So, nothing particular happened?" Feliciano didn't necessarily want to know the details of what his brother was doing. He just wanted to make sure that they didn't have anything to fear, in the near future at least.

Lovino rolled his eyes and nodded. It was a point he'd given up trying to enforce a long time ago. "He wasn't bothering anyone was he?" They were already pushing child labor law standards, it would be bad if the kid struck up a conversation with one of their...less friendly clients.

"Nothing that you need to concern yourself with" Although Feliciano was-technically-his right hand, he preferred to keep him out of most of what he did unless the situation was dire. The less his family knew, the better-that way it couldn't be used against any of them.

"No, of course he wasn't! Actually, the man was really enjoying his company." he replied, glancing at Chibi and then closing slowly the door.

"How's business going?" he asked. He called it business, since he couldn't just go to his brothers and ask how the "criminal activity" was going. Didn't sound nice, did it.

"And also, any news from father?" he added in a whisper. How long was it since he had disappeared? And still no idea of who could be behind this.
