Soren was hurrying back to his apartement. He had been at the local market, shopping for ingredients for one of his favourite foods. It was a Danish dish, as his date had asked. He was not too surprised that Feliciano wanted something other than pasta, for a change. This was going to be fun, actually being able to teach Feliciano something new. The Italian seemed to always know everything related to cooking, but now Soren had the upper hand. He hoped he wasn't late as he hurried up the stairs.

Re: Week 10: Soren / Feliciano
It took some time before Feliciano could finally find Søren's door. It was the first time he had the chance to go to his place, and he had spent a good ten minutes struggling and trying to find the house before realizing that he was on the wrong side of the road. That, plus his usual delay, made him a good half an hour late. Feliciano hoped that Søren wouldn't get mad at him, and that the bottle of wine he had brought would be enough to make up for the delay.
Admittedly, he wasn't sure whether the wine would match the dish they were going to prepare, but he wouldn't go to a dinner without a bottle of good wine.
Eventually, he rang Søren's bell and waited for him to open the door.

Re: Week 10: Soren / Feliciano
The Dane mentally kicked himself for being late. Finding Feliciano waiting at his doorstep was just what he had feared, but he hoped the Italian hadn't had to wait for long. At least he could make it up with a nice meal, no, a perfect one. He was certain Feliciano would love the food. He composed a polite apology, and opened his mouth.
"Feli! I'm so sorry I'm late! Needed to shop for a few things, can't make much without ingredients, can we?" Søren chuckled apologetically, if that was possible, and fumbled for his keys. Soon enough, the door was open, and he ushered his date inside.
"Ready to make some Smørrebrød?"

Re: Week 10: Soren / Feliciano
Feliciano turned in surprise as he saw his friend coming up the stairs. Normally, he was the one being late.
"Don't worry, don't worry! I understand perfectly! Of course, ingredients are important~" he nodded, following his friend inside. "And I'm very eager to try it!"
For as much as he could love his own cooking, he loved discovering new dishes and recipes, and admittedly he didn't have any experience in Danish food. He was grateful to his friend to let him have the chance to try it.

Re: Week 10: Soren / Feliciano
Søren laughed happily, as he stumbled to the kitchen corner and set down his bags of ingredients. He began taking out the contents while starting to explain what they were going to make.
"So Smørrebrød is basically bread with a lot of stuff on top. It can be cold or hot, and the toppings can be fish or meat or vegetables, or anything you come up with. Then there's usually salad and remoulade and onions and stuff like that. It doesn't have much rules to it, but the outcome is always delicious. I thought we'd make one with beef, if that's fine with you."
