    Week 6: Vash/Natalya Empty Week 6: Vash/Natalya

Natalya glanced uneasily at the door before her. How long had she been out here? Surely it had been a good ten minutes, so why couldn't she muster up any guts she had to knock on the door? Lilli had assured her that Vash would not mind her staying with them for a little while since she could not deal with her siblings right now, but she now had the feeling Lilli hadn't really asked Vash. Two suitcases stood by her as her gloved hand left on to rap gently on the door, holding her breath as she waited to see if she would actually be allowed. She knew Lilli hadn't told Vash. It was a gut feeling she couldn't get rid of.

    Week 6: Vash/Natalya Empty Re: Week 6: Vash/Natalya

Vash was relaxing in his living room after a long days work when the bell wrung. He wasn't expecting visitors, no one ever wanted to visit him anyway. He usually repealed people in general. Who ever it was out there probably had no sense of decent timing, seeing as it was past nine in the evening. Walking to the door he vaguely wondered why Lilli had gone out again. She didn't actually tell him where she went, all he knew is that she went. He opened the door to find a shock. Natalya. What had brought her here? He cleared his throat.
"Good evening, what brings you here after a reasonable hour?" he said in an irritated tone, eyeing the bags to her sides.

Natalya gasped quietly as the door was opened, obviously not expecting an answer. She started to think she would have to find a park to sleep in or something.. She looked up to Vash's obviously irritated face, wincing slightly. "Umm.. Vell.. Lilli said that I may stay here for a vhile.. umm.." Natalya shifted from foot to foot, glancing down at her bags. "I need to get avay from home.." She mumbled, hoping Vash would get it over with already and slam the door in her face. "I am sorry about the time.."

A thought ran through Vash's head. What had Ivan done to get Natalya of all people to want to get away from him. The meer thought of it made him shudder inwardly. His cold stair lightened a bit. Lilli had said she could stay here. This was as much Lilli's home as it was his. If she had already offered it to Natalya who was he to say that she couldn't? "I see. Well, don't just stand there, come inside. The longer this door is open the more money I have to spend." he told her, opening the door fully to allow her inside.

Natalya's eyes widened with surprise and quickly grabbed her things, slipping quickly into the house. Now, she was at a loss. Lilli hadn't specified where she would stay, just that she could stay at the house. "Um.. Vhere shall I sleep?" She asked softly, glancing back at the slightly less agitated blonde behind her. She didn't want to impose by taking anyone's bed.

Vash shut the door tightly behind them. He hated being the nice guy-or the hero as America might say. All it brought him was unnessicary trouble. He realized he would need some time to set up the guest room with fresh linens and such. "Lilli's room for now, she won't be returning until tomorrow, that should be sufficient time for me to get the guest room prepaired. It is right down the hall, first on the right." he gestured towards the room. Grabbing his book from the table, he sat on the couch to relax for as much time as he could.

Natalya visibly relaxed, breathing a silent sigh of relief. Lilli's room.. familiar territory.. She bent over, scooping up her things quickly and headed to the familiar room. She set her luggage out of the way, figuring she'd stay as little of a bother as possible. She was curious, though. She often visited Lilli or vice versa, but she had never spent more than a few awkward minutes with her brother. She tried to silently slip from the room and peek around to see exactly what the enigmatic blonde was doing. Her head tipped in curiousity.

Being quite obsorbed in his book, Vash let the world disappear around him, yet, somehow he couldn't shake the feeling if being watched. He looked around the room for Natalya. He didn't see anyone. Then he checked out the window for that pervert Francis, but still he saw no one. "You're just being paranoid." he mumbled under his breath. He could have sworn some one was watching him.

When Vash's eyes flitted away from his book Natalya ducked back behind the corner, holding her breath. What was wrong with her? She was acting crazy and needed to calm down. "It must be the unfamiliar territory.. or at least company.." She mumbled silently, peeking back around the corner to see Vash busily looking for something. "A nice hot shower will help me relax.." Drawing in a deep breath, she slipped silently into the bathroom close to Lilli's room. She took in her surrounding, noting that she had clean towels and that the bathroom seemed shared between the siblings. Turning the water as hot as possible, she shirked her clothes and slipped beneath the running stream of water. "Aaah~" She cooed, drawing the shower curtain closed. Should she have told Vash before that she was taking a shower? No, surely he wouldn't mind.
