    Week 1-Lovino/Vash Empty Week 1-Lovino/Vash

Why the hell was he here again? Really, what on earth had possessed him to ask Vash out...oh yeah, alcohol. Alright, never drinking again-drunk Lovino obviously shared DNA and decision making skills with the rest of his family and needed to be ignored. But Vash was a smart guy, why hadn't he just refused so that he could call him some names, grumble a bit and not waste his time sitting around in random coffee shops? Damn Swiss bastard....

Lovino had debated on bringing something, but really what did you bring a person you didn't know very well who occasionally threatened to shoot your brother-flowers didn't seem quite right. He'd settled for showing up-which, in itself was surprising. Scratch the showing up-He scowled at his watch in annoyance- he'd shown up early. He deserved a fucking medal. Yawning boredly, he leaned his chair legs back, sipping at his coffee and resigning himself to a long wait.

Vash had no clue why he had said yes. He was perfecltly sober at the time, unlike most people at the place. Maybe it was pity, or maybe it was some sort of daze. Who knew, certainly not him. He had left early to meet the vulgar mouthed Italian. He wasn't particularly a fan of the Italian brothers; especially since one of them tended to run across his property, naked most of the time. He really despised that of Lovino's brother. Lovino at least had a sense to stay off of his property.

He arrived at the coffee shop, on time and as punctual as always, he was shocked to find Lovino already sitting at a table when he opened the door. Italians weren't known for their timeliness. He made his way over to the waiting man and extended a hand. "Hello Lovino." he said daringly.

At least the swiss man had shown up, he would've had to send his mafia after him if he'd been stood up and that would have been unpleasant for everyone involved...okay, not so much for him, but still...But Vash had shown up, so he supposed it was only decent to be polite. The Italian raised an eyebrow at the offered hand, pushing away from the table to stand up and grab it. "Vash" he considered just shaking the other mans hand, but some part of him thought better of it (or decided it had a death wish) and bought it to his lips.

He kissed the back of it, turned to pull out the tables other chair and moved as far out of hitting range as possible-because one only pushed their luck so much. Hopefully Vash wasn't carrying any weapons...or any loaded ones at least. He grinned smugly and reclaimed his seat. "I trust you traveled well?"

A giant wave of shock and confusion flooded through Vash's head as his date kissed his hand. Why the heck would he do something like that? No one touched him, they knew he didn't like close contact unless it was formal or hand to hand combat. He considered pulling his gun on the daring Italian man, but decided against it seeing as this was a pubic establishment and he did not want to pay that bill . He sat calmly, watching the smug face infront of him.

Vash thought for a moment, "Not bad, otherwise I would be at home right now obviously." he the said, reaching to mess with the ends of his sleeves. "How about you?" he asked cordially.

Lovino was somewhat gratified by his dates bewildered look and the lack of angry, yelling short men and or bullet holes in his chest. He smirked-who said this couldn't be fun. Hopefully the several dozen people in the vicinity were insurance enough to keep him from getting anything blown off. He turned to call to a waitress and order another cup of coffee before turning his attention back to his companion.

He resisted the urge to roll his eyes at the others slightly sarcastic comment, nodding slightly "Of course, of course..." He shrugged. "The people here are terrible driver-they all move so slowly..."
