Shivers Night Club

Normally Gilbert might find a clear spot in the corner of the dance floor and just set himself to having fun, but it was a new town. And Matthew needed to be exposed to what club dancing was all about. He laughed loud enough to be heard above the music, the pulled the blond in an arch to stand in front of him, the two facing each other.

Gilbert's giant grin was telling, and he let go of Matthew's wrist as he closed his eyes and began to dance. He was pretty lithe, considering how his brother was turning out, so he moved very well as a dancer. He felt people bumping against him in the crowd and brushing up to briefly dance against him. He felt a particularly insistent grind from what he assumed was another guy (by the feel of things), and he chuckled lightly to move away after a second.

He opened his eyes and saw that Matthew had yet to begin to dance. Crap. He looked the other teen over and smiled at him with a predatory leer.

“Dance!” He laughed.

“Dance? Oh. Right.” He had been too preoccupied trying to figure out what on earth everyone around him was doing, leaving him more lost than before.

He took a deep breath. He could do this, he was going to loosen up and have fun if it was the last thing he—alright, maybe that wasn’t the best way to go about it. Oh, the hell with it. Ironically, he was only successful the moment he gave up on caring.

As it turns out, he wasn’t the most graceful, yet on the other hand he was nowhere near as awkward and stiff a dancer as he thought and feared he’d be. The key thing for him was to avoid over thinking things. Instead, he focused on the crowd around him, the older teen in front of him, and the music that was hard to ignore. All things considered, this wasn’t too bad. Well, excluding his more than just a little surprised reaction the first time someone danced against him.

Opening one eye mid-kiss, Roderich glanced down, stifling a small chuckle at the awkwardly held drink between them. He slid his hand carefully down Ludwig's arm, keeping his eye on it to make sure he didn't inadvertantly spill anything, and gently prised the glass from Ludwig's fingers. Somehow, he managed to slide it on to the nearby table without breaking the kiss.

Free of that little potential accident, he returned his attention to Ludwig, quite enthusiastically; wrapping his arms around him, he kissed him a little harder, pressing close. Despite going out being his own idea, Roderich was paying very little attention to their surroundings just then.

Ludwig very nearly fought Roderich for the glass, afraid it would spill, but the teen managed to get it from his grasp and set it on the table. This left Ludwig's hands and arms free to wrap around Roderich's waist and his mind to focus only on the kiss.

To say it was nice would have been an understatement. He was relieved to be able to be out in public, freely kissing someone he was genuinely interested in, and happy to feel the kiss returned as eagerly as he felt. He pulled Roderich closer, knowing with another tug he could get him onto his lap, but he didn't want to force the teen into that position. He was, honestly, surprised they were doing so much in public as it was.

He simply let his tongue writhe over Roderich's and his hands grasp firmly at the teen's waist.

Gilbert nodded once Mattie seemed to get into the swing of things. The other boy seemed to be enjoying himself well enough. Gilbert felt good--he'd changed someone's life tonight. Well, maybe he shouldn't go that far, but he had forced Matthew to relax a little. And after all, people only regretted what they didn't do, right?

He laughed when he saw Matthew's reaction to another person dancing against him. His gut reaction was to use his body language to claim the space around the other teen if he looked too uncomfortable with the sexuality of the crowd. But, Gilbert stopped himself because Matthew just seemed surprised, not horrified.

Slipping an arm around Ludwig's neck and sliding his fingers through blond hair, Roderich, spurred by slightly mindless (or at least, not involving the upstairs mind very much) desire to get closer, shifted almost on to his knees, the better to face Ludwig. Of course, this had the side effect of making him slip on the leather and land promptly in Ludwig's lap. Even that didn't deter him, as he continued with the long, slow kiss; but on pulling back for air he realised just how compromising their position was.

He panted slightly, lips wet, and looked rather dazedly into Ludwig's eyes. '...Ah.' He sounded like he'd just noticed what they'd been doing, and that wasn't too far from the truth.

Ludwig let out only a small grunt as Roderich landed squarely on his lap, but he continued kissing all the same until the teen pulled back and looked at him, sheepishly. He could feel his entire face grow hot as he licked his swollen lips.

He allowed his arms to wrap around around Roderich's waist, not really wanting him to pull away. He saw another couple, straight, on the other side of the lounge area in a similar position to him and Roderich. "I am sure you didn't want to come here just to do this, since we could have just stayed in the room."

He still didn't make an attempt to move.

'Ahaha, no, this wasn't my intention, really...' Roderich replied, laughing nervously and looking at the ceiling. 'I just thought we could spend time and get used to each other without being bottled into that room, and socialise, perhaps...but, well,' he said, looking back at Ludwig and pressing comfortably against his chest, 'I suppose I can't keep my hands to myself after all. I'm sorry.'

He wasn't sorry at all, of course. It was pretty cozy in Ludwig's lap.

"I'm not complaining. I don't socialize well, anyway." He rested his cheek Roderich's shoulder. "I just don't want you feeling like you wasted your money coming here tonight." His blue eyes looked up at Roderich's face.

"As for your hands ... I think you can guess that I don't mind them in the least."

He didn't feel too awkward as he held the other teen like this, like he always thought he would, but perhaps because the other option was gyrating on the floor like his brother and Mattie. That and he'd discovered that he liked being this close to Roderich quite a bit.

'No, I don't think it was a waste,' Roderich said with a smile, planting a kiss on Ludwig's cheek and leaning against him. 'I got to dress you up, at least. And maybe we can dance later on,' he teased, not thinking Ludwig would be too keen on the idea. He couldn't help thinking it would be fun...although there was the potential for deep awkwardness, as well. Especially if they ran into Gilbert.

Perched in his lap, Roderich absently stroked Ludwig's hair as he turned slightly to watch the crowd. There was a lot of dancing that definitely skirted into questionable territory, but they looked like they were enjoying themselves.

Ludwig closed his eyes as Roderich kissed his cheek. He smiled as he felt fingers running through his hair. He knew it might mess his usually gelled-down locks, but he didn't care so much.

He let his arms settle more comfortably around Roderich and opened his eyes to look at him. Ludwig's eyes followed the direction of what Roderich was watching, and he had to admit, what he was seeing definitely didn't look like what he thought of as dancing. "I think people could probably have sex on that dance floor and no one would notice," he said, watching as a man began to grind behind a woman, lifting her shirt to rest his hand flat against her bare stomach.

Roderich raised an amused eyebrow, both at Ludwig's statement and at the sight of the enthusiastic dancers in front of them. 'It would certainly be an interesting experiment, although quite uncomfortable,' he quipped, shaking his head at some of their antics. He'd have commented on taste and decency, but right then it would have been slightly hypocritical.

'I expect your brother's enjoying himself in there somewhere. I wonder what he's done with Matthew...' He couldn't imagine the mild-mannered boy behaving like these people, but then again, he could have been a secret raver for all he knew.

Ludwig laughed at Roderich's comments, but tried to ignore the mental pictures that went with them. "I am sure Gilbert is. Though ... I can't really see either of them from here." He moved his head slightly so that his chin was resting, but hopefully not pressing into, Roderich's shoulder, rather than his cheek. "Not that I am really inclined to change my position at the moment."

He smiled at Roderich, then turned his attention back to the dance floor. He couldn't imagine he had the rhythm necessary for the dancing they were doing. As fun as it might be to press so close to Roderich out on the dance floor, he didn't like the idea of some stranger doing the same to him, or trying and probably failing to find the beat without knocking his dance partner to the floor.
