Week 6: Ivan/Tino

Ivan stood outside the Nordics house and rapped quickly on the door. He hadn't seen Tino in yeeears. He didn't understand why they didn't spend more time together, they had so much in common after all. Like weather. And trolls. They both had trolls.

Tino padded downstairs sleepily, rubbing his eyes, and when he opened the front door, he yelped. He tugged his shirt back down his thighs and edged out of view.

"I-Ivan! I haven't seen you in forever! What-what are you doing here?" The Finn fidgeted, uncomfortable.

"I was thinking just that and I thought I would visit~" He stepped into the entrance hall and closed the door behind him. After taking a look around he was pleased to see that everything was mostly the same.

"I was wondering how you were doing, you don't bother to write any more."

"I apologise, I've just been so busy lately..." Tino paded to the living room and gestured for Ivan to sit. "Would you like something to drink? Cocoa perhaps? It's awfully cold out."

"Everyone is busy~ And cocoa is just fine~" Ivan sat and examined the small trinkets lettering the table. He had always loved the Nordics style. Not that he would ever say that....

"Feel free to make yourself comfortable. I'll just put some water on the stove. Excuse me for a moment." Tino hurried to the kitchen to put the kettle on, then to the adjoining laundry room for some pants. Walking around in only a shirt with Ivan around was making him distinctly nervous. Once he had a pair of sweats on, he padded back to the living room.

Ivan inspected any and everything he could get his hands on in the time his host was gone. Tino was doing quite well for himself. Ivan turned at the sound of footsteps and couldn't help but be disappointed with the addition of clothing. Less was more after all. "I brought you something. It vould be rude to visit vithout a gift after all~" He pulled a small package from his coat and set it on a nearby table.

"Aw, thank you... You really didn't have to though, Ivan..." Tino picked up the package, judging its weight and giving it a gentle shake before proceeding to unwrap it. When he pulled the scope free of the box, the Finn made a happy squeak. "It's brilliant, Ivan! Really, really brilliant! I needed a new one..."

Tino lined the scope up with his eye and a tree out the window, imagining how it would feel to take aim with it for real.
