Francis' and Berwald's Room Empty Francis' and Berwald's Room

Post  Francis Bonnefoy Thu Jul 01, 2010 3:39 am

Francis whistled softly as he strode down the corridor, taking careful note of who stayed in which room, and the best escape routes if he were ever unlucky enough to be caught doing something inappapropriate. Not that he really had anything planned, but it was always better to be well prepared.

Reaching his dormitory room, Francis pushed the door open, catching sight of the large brown boxes that sat silently on floor. He had decided that he shouldn't bring too much over, and brought most only books and clothing, leaving only a box for all other miscellaneous items. He lamented slightly if he should have brought over all his skincare and haircare products. Afterall, a man should be smart, dress smart, and look smart. No matter, he decided. He'll just have to get them from the stores in town.

As he put away the books into the shelves, Francis prayed that his room mate would at least be an interesting person.

    349... room 349...

Berwald squinted from door to door, not even remotely sure he was in the right area. The numbers on many of them didn't even make sense, (though he did notice a silvered-haired boy sprinting and snickering down the hallway with a handful of similar numbers) so he resigned himself to trekking the maze of hallways in the hope that he might find his name written somewhere or rather.

It was his last year of high school, yet his parents saw fit to move town for new job prospects, leaving their son in the lurch of a new school. Fortunately for him (as well as unfortunately in the instance of Den) he did know a couple of the students already.

He continued on, praying to whoever controlled the fate of a highschooler in a place that looked as if this school was designed to get the newbies lost.

Francis' and Berwald's Room Empty Re: Francis' and Berwald's Room

Humming a tune as he set the last item down on his desk, Francis went on to draw the curtains back. Well, it certainly was a room with a good view. Reaching into his bag, he drew out a bright red rose, a welcoming present for his new room mate. Well, it's always good to start off nice, wasn't it?

Sitting down on his desk chair and turning to face the door, Francis decided to wait patiently for his room mate to show up.

With a sigh of resignation, Berwald decided to take a chance at opening doors at random and mutter a questioning '349?' until someone knew where he should be.

After a few attempts (and a mental note to NOT open the room labelled 'Cleaning Supples' ever again when noises could be heard from it), a girl was able to direct him to the right place. He wasn't sure how concerned he should be that she practically glowered at the door...

Tentatively, he made a sharp knock on it.
    "C'n I come in?"

Francis jumped slightly when he heard the door knock. Standing up, he hurriedly straightened out his clothes with his hand as the other gripped the flower. "Ahh, yes! Please come in!"

Berwald dragged his suitcase into the room, with a quick glance around that satisfied him to know that senior's rooms were more superior to the standard.
He was mildly taken aback by the long-haired boy holding a rose. A strange international school custom perhaps? Other than that, the look of him suggested a person who was altogether perceptive and flouncy at the same time.

"Hallå där, 'm Berw'ld Oxenstierna," he mumbled, arranged his face to its least-ominous mode and holding out his hand to shake.

'A Swedish accent?' Francis thought as he gripped the tall boy's hand and shook it tightly. "Bonjour! My name is is Francis, Francis Bonnefoy. And, well, this is for you." He said as he handed the rose to Berwald.

"I haven't taken a bed yet since I was waiting for you arrive, but if you don't mind, could you take the one by the window, because I was hoping for the one near the bookshelf?"

"Suits me fine," Berwald allowed. He lugged his things over to the bed, placing the rose on the windowsill.
"Thanky' f' the flower. Ah..." he looked around his things and remembered the Schweizernöt he had bought before leaving his home, and pulled the chocolate out to Francis. "T' show my grat'tude."

Francis accepted the gift gratefully. Smiling at it, he set it down on the study desk, and smiled at Berwald. "So, are there any... rules you want to set down?"

Francis smiled. Well, those didn't seem too difficult. Nodding, he agreed before adding a few of his own, "May I include cleaning up after oneself, and asking for permission before borrowing something?" As far as he was concerned, his roommate seemed pretty reliable. Whatever issues could probably be saved till later.

"Hn." Berwald could see no harm in those rules either. Exhausted from the trip, he went to collapse on his bunk.
There was a silence as he wondered what might be useful to ask of his new surroundings.
"So... wha' kinds of things 'sides work happ'n 'round here?"

Sitting down on his own bed, Francis shrugged. "Well, it's mostly clubs, I suppose. Have you decided on which ones you're joining?"
