Weekend in Sweden (aka Naked Snow Sauna Trip XD)

Vash held out a chair for Roderich to sit in. He had class, and a well defined system of manners. Up holding this system was something he struggled with every day. The constant stream of annoying and unintelligent people was over bearing a lot of the time and his self control wasn't always in place.

Vash sat opposite to his lover and looked around at the food. "It looks...interesting to say the least." he said finally, choosing his wording carefully.

Roderich gave a small shrug. 'It looks quite good to me...at least it's not surstromming,' he said with a wry smile, thinking of the infamous herring and the supposed deadly power it possessed. To the best of his knowledge it was merely an acquired taste, but still, better not to risk it. He placed a napkin in his lap, helping himself to the soup.

'Let's see...' He tasted it; it really was good, if different to what he was used to. 'Not bad at all. This place is worth the money, or it would be if we'd paid for it.'

Vash tried some of everything. It wasn't at all what it seemed. The food was quite good to say the least. Salmon was on of his favorite foods. He very much enjoyed it, even though it usually cost a fairly large amount of money to get.

Vash ate the food. He was enjoying it. He enjoyed food, but he knew how to hold back. When he finished, he sat back and watch the elegance that was Roderich himself.

Roderich ate as much as he could manage; there was a lot more than he'd thought at first. Finishing, he absent-mindedly straightened up the plates, noticing Vash looking at him only when he glanced up. He grew slightly self-conscious, fidgeting with his collar.

'Something wrong...?' he asked, wondering if there was something on his face. That would be rather mortifying.

"oh no, nothing at all." Vash smiled. "Just admiring the view." he finished, razing an eyebrow. The view was one of the best he had seen in a long while. Roderich perched up so confidently, so intelligently. All the pride that just seemed to radiate off of him, and that was an amarable quality. Quite frankly, it was turning him on.

Roderich smiled, looking rather demurely down at his folded hands. 'Now, Vash. Too much flattery will go to my head.' He stood, carefully replacing his chair and holding a hand out to Vash. 'Do you want to go for that walk? The palace is directly opposite the hotel, we could take a look at that. And it seems to be quite a quiet day, meaning...we should have some privacy.' As much as he loved hiding away with his lover, he couldn't deny how appealing the idea of a romantic walk was, out in the cold weather and beautiful scenery. And, after all, after coming in, they'd need to warm up again.

Vash nodded. "A walk sounds nice." he said shortly, standing up to search for a coat. Sure it was cold outside, but it wasn't anything he couldn't handle. And it wasn't like it was something that wouldn't be fixed later. Pulling on his coat, he looked around for Roderich's; eventhough he had absolutely no clue where it was located. He was some what delirious in the mornings.

Roderich found his own coat, pulling it on and buttoning it up tightly. He pulled a scarf from his bag, winding it around his neck, and then found his black gloves in his pockets. 'Do you have the room key, or did I leave it somewhere?' he asked, checking his reflection and fixing his slightly mussed hair. He glanced around the room, patting himself down in case the key was hidden away somewhere in his clothes.

"Right here." he answered, patting his back pocket. He opened the door and led his lover down to the lobby, hopping that they wouldn't get lost. Roderich didn't have a good sense of direction as he recalled but he, on the other hand, had a mostly accurate one. And just as much as he hated getting lost, he hated being wrong. He noted to watch what he said on this walk.

Roderich pulled his collar up a little as they stepped outside; it was colder now than it had been earlier, or maybe he'd gotten used to the warmth of the room. He glanced around; it was relatively quiet, and the scenery was beautiful. He thought back to the travel guide, and tried to remember interesting places to visit. Knowing he'd be shot down immediately if he suggested the ABBA museum, he gestured to the royal palace, visible directly opposite them.

'If we just go over the bridge there, we can go and take a look at the palace...or, we can just walk along the waterfront,' he said. He didn't much mind where they went, but he did wonder if it would be considered strange to offer Vash his arm.

"Would you like to lead the way? You seem to know your way around better than I do." Vash asked, looking away. It wasn't very asurtive of him to not take the lead but there is only so much you can do when you have no idea where you are. And are surrounded by a constant forign-ness that you had never really experienced before. He shrugged and looked around awkwardly, not sure what to do for once in his life.

'Well, to be honest, I'm only going on what's in the travel guide,' Roderich admitted. 'Let's just walk along the waterfront for now. If we see something interesting, we can just go and take a look. There's no harm in exploring a bit.' He smiled, and walked past Vash to head along the street, touching his arm gently as he passed. 'Come on, don't let me wander off and get hopelessly lost.'

Vash grabbed the hand as it touched him. "Lead the way, I'll make sure to remember how to get back." he nodded, walking along with the man. He pulled Riderich closer, it was a bit chilly, and there was no one around to bother them, so why not show his affection. Even the tiniest bit was worth it in the end.

Roderich looked away, hiding his slight blush and wide smile; when he had composed himself, he laced his fingers through Vash's, giving them a gentle squeeze. Setting a leisurely pace, he led them along the water's edge, glancing around at the scenery, although his eyes wandered back to his lover every now and then. He felt he should be making some kind of interesting conversation, but it was as if he was young again, and just touching the person he loved in an innocent, romantic way left him speechless and smiling like an idiot. He let out a spontaneous laugh that rang through the cold air; he was glad they were alone.
